Editor, Planned Giving
Director
of Development, Planned Giving at Queen’s University, in
Kingston, Ontario, Ed holds the first Canadian doctoral
degree awarded for work in the stewardship and Planned Giving
area. He is a seasoned practitioner with over 20 years of
stellar experience, and co-author of the national best seller
Planned Giving Making
It Happen.
A partner in Bram-Philip Equity Management and EH. Pearce and Associates, Ed is an
adjunct professor at Georgian College, teaching Planned Giving in the
College’s post-graduate program. He is a regular contributor
of articles to third sector publications such as Canadian
FundRaiser, CAGP Planner (Canada), The Endowment Builder, Planned Giving Today (USA) and Canadian Gift Planner Journal. Edward is Chair of the Strategic Ink
Volunteer Board of Advisors, past Chair of the Canadian
Association of Charitable Gifts, and is a founding Board
member and past Ethics Chair of the Canadian Association
of Gift Planner.
