CYNTHIA (CINDY) J. MANSON

After completing studies at McMaster University, Cindy moved to Ottawa where, over a 20 year period, she held positions in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Moving back to Hamilton in 1995, Cindy established herself as a consultant offering a range of services to assist organizations to deliver excellent programs and services that are effective and efficient.

In 1997, she established the consulting firm of Partners Through Philanthropy (PTP) with two other principals. The company works with their clients to develop their own capacity for strategic thinking and leadership. Cindy delivers services in the areas of resource development, grantsmanship, Board governance, strategic planning, policy development, communications and crisis management.

Cindy had numerous volunteer leadership commitments in Ottawa and since moving back to Hamilton has served on boards of directors and is currently the Chair of the Board, Community Information Services. She is also a member of the tri-sector steering committee guiding the development of the community portal, myhamilton.ca.
